In Memoriam

As the 2007 Christmas mumming season approaches, we look back and celebrate the life and performances of Professor Robert Eisenthal, our Gallant Knight for many years.

Robert passed away on October 15th after a long fight with cancer. He will be greatly missed by performers and spectators alike.

The Weston Mummers are experiencing some difficulty with casting this year. Apart from the sad loss of the Gallant Knight, the Fool is recovering from an operation and Bold Slasher is emigrating.

Because of this, we regret to announce that we are unable to give our annual pre-Christmas performances in Weston and the surrounding villages this year. Details of our Boxing Day performance are given in the programme. We are hoping to recruit new members for next year so, if you would be interested in joining us, please contact us via the email address below.
